If some of the dumplings get done before you finish dropping the dough, scoop them out with a spoon and place in colander.

Drain beans in a colander. 2 tbsp. flour 4. In a kettle, heat oil over medium heat for 1 minute. Add onion and sauté until transparent. Add beans, paprika, bay leaves, salt, carrot, and parsnip to kettle, sprinkle with flour and stir well. Add water and stir. Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 to 45 minutes. 1¥ tsp. paprika 5 c. water ¥ lb. smoked sausage, cut into ø-inch pieces 1¥ tsp. white vinegar ¥ c. sour cream 5. Add sausage. Cook 55 to 60 minutes more until beans are tender. 6. Just before serving, add vinegar and stir.

Pour mixture over chicken and stir. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 more minutes. 6. Place chicken in a deep serving dish. Spoon sour cream from pan over chicken. Garnish with green pepper rings and remaining sour cream.
